Hola!

As some of you may know David Sears had a severe heart attack on 13 May. He had to be resuscitated three times but thankfully survived and has been in Norfolk and Norwich Hospital since. Tests showed his heart strong and arteries clear, bad news they don't know why it happened. Today they fitted a difibrillator and hopefully can come home tomrorrow. As a result we were unable to go to the Pidley break and I cannot thank enough the team that went and pulled together to organise the event. A great combined effort. I understand the venue was a definite success and the staff excellent if not the weather.

First day team event was won by David Robinson, Lucy Godfrey and Pat Edworthy with 74 points.

Day 2 Texas Scrambled played over 11 holes due to rain First Reg Auchtalone Godfrey Camilleri and Pat Edworthy with 41.6, Second John Ellis, Vi Auchtalone and Lucy 44.7.

Day 3 Waltz First Mike Stevenson, John and Pat 64, Second Mary Stevenson Lucy and Reg 59.

Nearest Pin Day 1 Lucy, Longest Drives Reg Mike Pat and Lucy.
